I had a chat with my uncle on the phone.
He sure talks a lot lol, about his vacation with my aunt, what discos they go to, that he got steak for dinner tonight...
He talks like a waterfall vs. my brain is slow like a hard drive that hasn't been defragged in ages. But I mean I don't really talk to people a lot and in GENERAL don't do a lot so there's not much to talk about... ^^
I noticed he does SO many things, I didn't even realize how little I do just sitting around every day. But I wouldn't want to go to discos or restaurants except if it's with someone I really like and know we will be able to have a good time. Hmm, but still he reminded me that there's a whole world out there that I've forgotten about.
You know, my mom's got a new mattress and we still have the old one, I implied that I might want to switch mine with that, but we would still have one mattress that's just kinda sitting there being useless, and my uncle suggested to sell it on ebay or keep it so my girlfriend (which I don't have BTW) will be able to have a place to sleep LOL! Then again, I have a feeling me acting from a basis that feels natural to me will attract someone, I don't know who but I'm sure there is someone out there who will like my character very much, maybe I'll date that person soon.
And he asked about university, how stuff is going forward, and I unenthusiastically answered "yeah university is happening", and he ofc picked up on it (which was clear to me since I don't care to hide I don't feel happy about uni, but I'd not tell that I just sit at home skipping all my classes lol)...
Luckily I could gracefully indirectly make him understand that I wanted to end the conversation after that... was like 30 minutes talk where he talked 80% or so, holy s**t.

I have never, in the whole entirety of my time on this planet, up until now liked Noel Edmonds.

But I do think the lottery advert with him in is quite funny.

Sometimes I feel like going in the kitchen and saying to everyone "We're all having fun in the other room".

But then I remember, there is no one in the kitchen and there's only me in the house and all the fun is just in my own little head.

Never mind.

Gah.

I need to stop being cheap when buying DVDs and Blu-rays online and only buy from Amazon, Best Buy, etc. I'm certain the DVD set I got in the mail today is a bootleg and now I'm worried that the huge Star Trek: The Next Generation DVD set I just ordered will show up and also be a bootleg. (I've researched it and the bootleg version of that one is easy to spot.) If it is a bootleg, I'll certainly try to get my money back on it, and then it's off to Amazon to order the much more expensive but much more reliable Blu-rays.

It must be nice to have friends.

Travelling to the capital today for a series of appointments.
