I had a recurring dream again, about being back in a normal, public high school (as opposed to doing school online like I currently do). The only part I remember was being in an English class (which is by far my most hated class) and not being able to decide where to sit down, since people were everywhere and I wanted to be alone. What's strange is that in my dreams about school, there are almost always people I actually knew from school, but also people I do not know at all. After that dream I dreamt that I was moving to a new house... on the moon! It was a pretty awesome dream, although really short. Awesome because I went outside and saw Earth (although it was much larger than it would be if one was on the moon) and it was beautiful. Also, I tried walking out to these stairs that went back towards the house to some one-story structure, so I could see Earth better, but almost didn't realize that I walked out of the force field that kept all the air in and was suffocating to death. If this dream doesn't mean that I want to get out of here and start a new life than I don't know what will. :P

High School
To dream about high school, refers to the bonds and friendships that you made while you were in high school. What spiritual lessons have you learned? The dream may also be telling you that you need to start preparing for the real world. To dream that you have to go back to school, suggests that you are doubting your accomplishments and the goals that you have already completed. You feel that you may not be measuring up to the expectation of others or are not meeting your own expectations regarding goals you have set for yourself.
Language
To dream that you are studying a tough subject [language], suggests that you are having difficulties expressing your thoughts. You are confronted with an unfamiliar problem that you do not know how to approach and resolve.
Moon
To see the moon in your dream, represents some hidden, mysterious aspect of yourself. It is often associated with the feminine mystique and intuition. Alternatively, the moon signifies your changing moods. The moon is about as far as you can get from your present reality, and it symbolizes a radical change that you are pondering in your waking life. "Leaving the nest" dreams often feature big changes of scenery.
Earth
To notice the earth in your dream, indicates that you need to be "grounded" and realistic. Perhaps your sense of stability and security is lacking. To see the [whole] planet Earth in your dream, signifies wholeness and global consciousness. You are interconnected with the world. When you look down on the earth, it means you are starting to get the big picture as far as what life for you and yours might be about. Life on earth [the workings of human civilization] is beginning to form a more understandable pattern in your young adult years, compared to when you were a small child.
Moving
To dream that you are moving someplace, signifies your desire or need for change. It may also mean an end to a situation or relationship; you are moving on. Alternatively, it indicates your determination and issues regarding dependence or independence.
House
To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. To dream that you see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life. You are becoming more emotionally mature. If the house you just moved into is new and empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If you live with others in your walking life, but dream that you are in a new place living alone, suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant. If you wander past a point of no return, then it represents rejection and insecurity. You feel you are being left behind or have left something important behind in a rush to mature.
Staircase
To see a staircase in your dream, symbolizes change and transformation. To dream that you are walking up a flight of stairs, indicate that you are achieving a higher level of understanding. You are making progress into your spiritual, emotional or material journey. The dream is also analogous to material and thoughts that are coming to the surface.
Walking
To dream that you are walking with ease, signifies a slow, but steady progress toward your goals. You are moving through life in a confident manner. Consider your destination. To dream that you have walked too far for safety, means you are taking new and unsteady steps forward into your future, you still want a fall-back to a more secure if less mature state of being, just in case.
Penthouse
To dream that you are in an elevated structure for viewing either high things or things from on high [such as a penthouse, for example], represents the creative and spiritual aspect of yourself. You are looking at life from a new perspective and accessing your highest potential. You are seeking an elevated perspective on your life, during a time when you feel change is happening to you, whether you are totally ready or not.
Air
To dream about the air, symbolizes creativity and intelligence. To dream of running out of breatheable air, signifies discordance in your domestic relations and setbacks in your personal affairs. You fear that things are moving along too quickly in your life to the point of losing your footing in reality. To dream that you do not have enough oxygen, suggests that you are feeling suffocated or smothered by a situation in your life.
Suffocating
To dream that you are suffocating, signifies that you are feeling smothered or oppressed by some situation or relationship. Something or someone is holding your back. You are experiencing a lot of stress and tension.
Death
To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more adult-thinking, enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life, or symbolically are escaping an earlier mode of existence.

Last night I had a dream that I had a... um... severe Oedipus complex, only instead of competing with my dad for my mom's affections, I was competing with one of my older sisters. I tried to kill my sister by choking and drowning her. There was more to the dream than that, but I will not go into details because it would get this thread locked.

Then I had a different dream that I was on a game show trying to win a scholarship to Bible college.

I had a dream just the other night that started out centered in my home town. I had only been married to my now fiance for a few very short months when I took her to my home town. While there we walked into the Wal-Mart Supercenter there to buy some food, drinks, and things we needed (because we were moving there). I had just gotten out of the army in my dream as well. As we were leaving the store, my mum's second hubby stepped in front of our shopping trolley and brought it to a stop. My fiance looks up scared and angry because the ignorant S.O.B. didn't see that she was holding our little girl. That set my blood to boiling (I DO NOT HAVE KIDS NOW BUT DESPERATELY WANT THEM) to hear my little girl crying like that. I said to him, "Look. I am going to put this as politely as I can and in a way that you can comprehend what I am saying. You hate me. I hate you. I get the point, but you just made my baby girl and her mother cry. I can't forgive that, but if you let go of the buggy and walk away before we have a problem I will let it slide. Savvy?" He started popping off at the mouth and took a swing at me. I kicked his legs out from under him, bringing my elbow down on the base of his neck. He looks up at me with a broken nose from falling face first, and is crying louder than my child by this point. I tell him that if he gets up and tries to continue this pointless battle then one of us will go to intensive care and it won't be me. He stands up and as he does I knee him in the face, catch him with a right cross, put him in a rear naked choke and have to be pulled off my my uncle (who i a detective with the local sheriff's office). I was given a fine for disturbing the peace and he got jail time for his abuse of my child and for his abusing me for 15 years of my life growing up. then I went with them on a camping trip (kid and wife), and we ended up in middle earth. that is part one of the dream.

part two:
We somehow end up in Rohan right after the battle of Helm's Deep. I become the typical Barry Stu. I end up following the remaining members of the fellowship while my fiance (by that time wife) and our baby follow Eowyn to Minas Tirith. We fight admirably in the final battles, and become heroes of the war. We end up raising our family and living out the rest of our lives peacefully and simply. Then I wake up.

i had a weird one in which i was back at work in the hospital operating room suite, only i was in the decontamination area where we washed instruments and sent them back to central supply for reprocessing. there was chux on the floor [chux are absorbant sheets of fuzzy plastic/paper sorta like an open depends diaper] with dirty graves vaginal speculums that needed washing and reprocessing. i was cleaning them with my bare hands [BLECH!! !] and then putting them in the sink to rinse them off. for some reason my late mother's sewing machine/table [along with her boxes of thread and other sewing stuff] was in the decon room with me, and i was with a coworker trying to move it all out of the way of everything else.

i eventually got blood and other slimy nasties on my scrubs and skin, so i went to the locker room to shower, only for some reason all my clothes disappeared and i was naked. i walked au naturel in from of a few doctors into the locker room and stood in front of a mirror, and then noticed that i mysteriously grew a full afro salt-and-pepper beard, very dense almost like a sponge, and very oddly shaped and lopsided. the rest of my face was normal, and my long hair was intact, but i just couldn't understand how i could have this beard, i kept running it through my fingers to verify that it was real, and it was so dense that i couldn't get too deep inside it. it was smooth like a mink stole, but looked very rough and kinky. then i awoke.

i dreamed that i set my alarm clocks (i have 2) to go off at three pm. then when they went off and interrupted my dream, i distantly thought about what time it was, and then i freaked out that is was 3pm, and i got hurriedly dressed and looked for my mobile phone to ring who i needed to ring to tell them i was going to be catastrophically late.

but then i reasoned it was only a dream. i looked at a real clock and it said 3:50 am, so i let myself fall deeply asleep again.

what an interruption!! !

I had one this morning in which I took a hot-air balloon ride from Alloa to South Queensferry.

After waking up briefly, I then dreamt about going to a beach to dig up a PS2. I gave this PS2 to an acquaintance, who was waiting for me at the car park in a van that, to my knowledge, she doesn't own. :P

i dreamt that i was in a strange place trying to ask william shatner a few questions about how he got to where he is in life. but everytime i tried, some people kept getting in my way and asking mr. shatner questions in spanish about whether or not he played with blocks as a toddler and if he liked mexican food and ice cream. these same people also sent nasty thought vibrations to me which told me to go away, that i had no right to be asking him any of my stupid questions. then all of a sudden i was called inside this building and it turned out to be my old hospital operating room workplace, and the head nurse said to open up for a C-section, and i shouted down the hall "C-SECTION! C-SECTION!" but nobody paid any attention to me. so i went down the hall to the OR#1 and found that the patient was already in the room - YIKES! - and scads of noisy people were jammed in the room so tightly that i had no room to open my equipment and set it up. i started picking up pieces of furniture and throwing them out of the room to make some more space, and the people in the room were blocking me from removing said furniture. i started getting a tightness in my chest [in the dream] and i felt very faint, then i awoke in a puddle of sweat.

I had one of my recurring dreams about coming into contact with and eating feces, According to the Dream Moods Dictionary, this means that there are aspects of myself which are "dirty and negative, which [ I ] believe to be undesirable and repulsive". It also says that I need to express these feelings even though it may be shameful.

I know exactly which aspect of my personality this is, but I have no outlet for expressing it. So I keep it bottled up inside, letting my negative feelings about it stew until it manifests itself in yet another feces dream. It's a vicious cycle.

just a suggestion- a journal, maybe? i can't think of a better toilet for feces dreams than that. a personage as noble as samuel langhorne clemens kept a private journal where he jotted his un-good thoughts, in novel form. it was eventually published decades after his death. i used to have feces dreams also, usually in the form of being trapped in a dingy lavatory where all the toilets were flooding and i was drowning in it.

I recently had another of those filthy public bathroom dreams. I was in a school (not as a student) and I was trying to use this clogged toilet and suddenly it started raining piss on me from the bathroom on the floor above me. :?

Are you having problems with 'superiors' at work, perhaps?

Actually, no. I've been there so long I'm practically on my own. They know the clients like me and they know I'm reliable so if I need to make a temporary scheduling change, for instance, they just say work it out with the client. I've actually had these dirty toilet dreams for years longer than I've had this job. It's either a bathroom that unusable or a laundromat that has no machines available. I think it's because I have a tendency to be a caretaker and I wish sometimes someone would take care of me. In other words, I can't get what I need because of other people's selfishness. That's how I feel. I'm not sure if it's entirely justified though.

I know how you feel, I always feel like the one doing all the accomodating and working things out, and doing the work to make things better.

Not long ago, I had another one about pieces of my gum and teeth coming out in chunks 8O I've heard of a lot of other people having similar ones...quite an odd theme!

Last night I had a strange one about being at a ski resort. I kept loosing my gloves or hat or the lift would shut down...always SOMETHING that JUST kept me from actually being able to ski. And my skis were really fat; they almost looked like a pair of snowboards.
I skied for the first time last year and loved it; is my inner self telling me it wants to snowboard (which I learned first) again?
