A row of restaurants along Vilamoura's seafront:

We then went to a restaurant, where I had a small glass of lager. Turned out to be a very expensive glass of beer - £2.50 for 20cl!

Lunch at a restaurant on the marina's promenade:

A water feature just away from the main drag:

Just testing to see if this works:

It worked--this was at the Magnetic Hill Zoo in Moncton, NB

I took this next picture at the Public Gardens in Halifax, NS:

The next one was also taken at the Public Gardens:

Then there is one I took of the Peggy's Cove fishing village, also in NS:

Image

I took the next one from inside of cave, looking out at Ovens Natural Park in Lunenburg County, NS:

I took this picture at Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee:

Image

I took the next picture when I was driving through Alaska:

Image

Passed this young grizzly on the edge of the Yukon wilderness. We were about this close to him, but inside a vehicle:

Image

The next photo might look like a snow-covered highway, but it is actually a glacier in the mountains. I saw it on my flight tour over Kluane National Park near Haines Junction, Yukon:

Image

The next one is another one I took in flight over Kluane. Although it was still light out, it is actually close to midnight (gotta love that midnight sun!):

I've posted lots more on my photostream but here's a shot of Albufeira's 'strip'. I hated the place with a passion but it's popular with… erm… "exuberant" and "impassioned" British tourists who deliver their "cultural enrichment" in spades.

Those are all really nice buildings. I also like the white against the blue of the sky. :)

I love the Alaskan photos. I'd love to see the Midnight Sun for myself. 8)

This is a very bad photo.

I'm not sure what happened, but I quite like the effect. Rosie seems to have 4 eyes.
Either I'm drunk, she's drunk, or the camera is.

Thanks! I lived in the Yukon for 3 1/2 months one summer for work--it took a few days to get used to the never ending sunlight, especially because my room didn't have blackout curtains. I got used to it though, and absolutely looooved it. It was nice being able to safely go for a midnight stroll, with the sky still bright. Not that I was bound to get mugged in the town of 80 people, but at least I could keep on the lookout for bears! lol
