There's an Asian kid who works at the pizza counter at Costco... His name is Phouk-Yu. And I'm not making that up. I also know a man whose last name is (the "N" word) with a T on the end. I'd change either of those names if they were mine!

We had one of those too!

Also: Cockburn, Butt & Dick (two people who were the Resource Teachers), my grandma's dentist was Dr Yankum.

That's all I can remember for now; I know there are more. :?

Mom has a workmate whose last name is Rzygadło which stems from "rzygać" - "to throw up". His name can be translated as "one that throws up".

Americans seem to use surnames/family names for first names (Tyler, Taylor etc) which I have never really understood.

Did they just run out of first names :?:

My favorite 'American-style' first name is WALKER; presumably meant as a statement that the name bearer is able to walk (at least at birth anyway) :?:

A couple of days, I saw this one in the celebrity birthdays list my local newspaper has: Peter Bonerz. I would crack up randomly the rest of the day thinking about it.
