I love kidney beans when cooked properly (by my standards, anyhow).

I just made a nice chili a few days with two cans of kidney beans, was delish.

Chili with kidney beans, potatoes, carrots, celery (I think?), zucchini and many spices. I forgot all the stuff I put in this, as I didn't get around to posting the photo soon enough. :P

It was very tasty with some rice.

Edit: oh yeah, kale as well as various spices from the garden.

A stir-fry I made a few days ago. I often make them in a pot, as I don't have a wok at the moment, and pans tend to cause the stirred items to go flying all over the stovetop!

Chickpeas, cauliflower, farmer's market green and yellow beans (so good!), carrots, almonds, parsley and spices. Along with fried white rice with canola oil, turmeric and orange bell pepper.

One of the most amazing foods evar!

Image

Bread dumplings + chicken breast meat + creamy vegetable sauce. The little pieces in the sauce are shredded carrots, parsley roots and a celery root, which create nice aroma and distinct, sweetish taste.

The item "Other (I adhere to a restricted diet not listed above)" will have to suffice. There are so many different types of diets, I wasn't sure which ones I should be adding. It doesn't seem right to go back now and change the list, as many people have already voted and wouldn't be able to re-vote, I don't think(?).

Edit:
But everyone who voted for "Other", please let us know what diet you do adhere to!

Just after I posted, I re-read the list and decided I should have voted as 'other'. Sorry.

Super yummy salad with romaine, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, almonds, turkey, and Italian dressing.

Somehow in that picture it looks like there's a lot less than there was. Those bowls are actually pretty big.
I was missing eating veggies like I do on school days. I really love my school's vegan cafeteria (first one in the country, they're really making a big deal about it). Currently my diet is cow dairy free, and I'm going to start avoiding eggs too. I eventually want to be a caprine-lacto (goat's milk) vegetarian, and I just made up the "caprine-lacto" bit, idk if that's even a thing lol. I'm working on reducing meat, mainly cause I don't like dealing with raw meat. I used up the last of the eggs I had this morning and I don't plan on buying more. I didn't buy any raw meat when I went shopping last night, just turkey lunch meat, and some fried rice dinner things that have pre-cooked chicken and pork in them.
