On the Battlefield: Being cut through the stomach by an assassin while on a mission throught the woods. I didn't make it.

In reality: Probably having my friend's ex-girlfriend bite my arm so that it wouldn't draw blood, but hurt like hell and bruised severely. She did this over two months ao, and the mark hasn't completely disappeared yet!

Emotionally: It was likely the realization that my Dad wasn't going to be living with us any more. I was really close to my dad when I was young, so that hurt me pretty bad (this was about 13 years ago, and I'm not entirely sure I recovered). It's either that, or when both of my parents refused to believe I could have AS.

A few years ago, I broke my back while recovering from a previous back surgery. Not only did that hurt like a bastard, but for a month afterwards just moving was torture. Unfortunately, I had to be moved from my bed several times a day, for rehab, CAT scans, etc., and I HATED it!

I won't go deeply into mine. But it was on the emotional side and related to a funeral.

Dang! You've posted one painful thing after another!

Your next post should be about the painful carpal tunnel that the computer mouse has caused you

I was spanked, a lot, as a child. That was painful, but it was a good pain. Every kid needs a spanking, at least once a week.

Sprained my back once, and was out of work for two weeks. I was in such pain all I could do was lay on the couch. Kept going to the Chiropractor, but it took weeks to go away.
