Impossible...how is that possible?...you'd hospitalized...you'd die....body has to restore itself.....sleep deprivation is lethal...

I'll have to dig up my report and scan a bit of it.

Something about my neuropathways or my synapses or something.

I sleep and I dream. That's enough to stay alive. But the super deep level where we have Delta Waves doesn't happen for me. This was also confirmed on my sleep and sleep-deprived EEGs. I do heal but it's extremely slow. If I get a small cut the scab will be there for about six months, and the scar will never leave.

I feel like that sometimes.
Also don't feel rejuvenated, all that much, from sleep.
Most days.
Wolverine, 'adamantium' skeleton, retractable claws, Canadian...fond of the word "bub"

Yeah, I won't be sleeping, but that's alright. I'll go for a walk along the road again soon for several hours. It's a good road since it's so narrow but flanked by woods, then the main road which is just farmland stuff. I take a satchel with me on these ones for more stuff, which is funny as I don't trust roads all that much, when they shouldn't bother me at all compared to a random direction in the woods. I guess you feel like you're out in the open.

Night walks are quite fun.

I did fall asleep last night a fashion. But we’ll medicated and had about 3 hours of being unconscious
Previous 3 nights. Yes sometimes I think I dream, btw. (“ who is there”)

Went for the walk. The only problem is when you hit civilization and the dogs. Sorry, people. Can't really avoid them picking my scent up and barking. They're just doing their job. Saw some deer on farmland, which aren't native to here.

I should probably get a [new] dog, but I have some bad memories there too (just wild dog stuff and how they attack things). Cats aren't really suited for here, outside of barn cats, but I never got around to getting a barn. Yeah, I'll probably get a dog. German Shepherd I guess.

Yes? Went to bed 3 hours ago, but up now. Would normally be thinking of bed now, though. When's morning?

I don't even really recognize the difference between night and day in my insomnia phases. Both are dark. Both are bright. One is just quieter than the other when it comes to human noise. Neither feel real.

Guess that was my sleep cycle …????? Rats here I am at 2;30- 3:00 am wondering was that all I get ,?
Out of frustration have taken my second level sleep meds hoping , I get to drop off again .. am hoping my friend was right about aspirin being a NSAID type of medicine . And mixes okay with my Tylenol , tonight .
Wish I had some sheep or some such critters to count.. maybe a good night to practice twiddling my thumbs if only the thumb on the other hand would cooperate :(

Count the llamas of the apocalypse :P

Seriously, I hope you get some sleep. Few things feel worse than exhaustion. To me, anyway.

Thank you high llama,, days of exhaustion , catch up, on a person and can make them more accident prone
Until some level of equaiibrium is reached. Fortunately have been able to time my best hours of the day with most functional hours of concioness . Usually pressing
alittle harder to get stuff caught up as much as I can during the workweek. Leaving weekends to hopefully recover?
DRAT am still awake , grump grump grump! :(

I think that's the problem for me, too. And probably a lot of us here. You have to do so much during the week, convincing yourself you can catch up on the weekend, but it's not that simple, is it? More like we should work on the weekend and catch up during the week.
