$4.20 last time I checked in Ann Arbor. The last time I bought gas it was $3.20. Wow, this is getting ridiculous.

$3.79 in Mesa Az, I guess we aren't that bad off.

I think there should've been an alternative to fossil fuel ages ago.

I mean it's not going to last long not to mention it's been proven to pollute the ozone layer what more evidence do people need?

...and we're really fighting for oil in Iraq. Whoops hope I didn't rile people up on this forum.

I haven't looked at the Indy gas prices lately. However, I actually (believe it or not) like the high gas prices. They don't affect my mom and I at all, and it's way less crowded on the roads and at the stores.

I don't personally pay for petrol as don't drive or own a car. My mother pays $2.00/litre now, though...and the price is still rising.

Actually, they are affecting you even if you don't drive at all. On a personal level we can compensate for high fuel prices by riding a moped if we don't have 4 kids to carry, and we can walk more, which would also put a dent in the obesity problem. However, the price of fuel is a big part of the cost of food production and distribution. Expensive gas also means expensive diesel, which gets into the cost of producing and distributing just about everything from milk to plywood. Don't cheer the lack of people at the stores, because there may be a lot more to it than just being more selective about driving. It used to be said during the depression that butter costs a nickel per pound, if you have a nickel.

Well, the only reason I haven't been anywhere lately is because my mom's sick. I still have to get my liscense, which I hopefully will in a few weeks.
