Had a glass of red wine at a work partners place after work and one beer after dinner. Might be it for the night, might have one drink with a friend. So much for another totally sober day tho lol.

Several things to do tmw from 8am-9pm. Probably no drinking tmw and I’m fine with that. Healthier.

Ended up having a Corona with a few slices of pizza while helping setup for my sister-in-law's Halloween Spooktacular Market that happens today from 10-4 in 2 buildings where a weekly flea market is held on Sundays. A lot of decorations! a few 12' tall skeletons, tons of other decorations, balloons, a photo booth, bouncy castle for little ones, face painter, people in costumes to entertain kids and 100+ vendors selling Halloween stuff.

Then rode my freshly upgraded (suspension!) motorcycle an extra 25km on the way home lololol so much more expensive than driving and poured myself a black russian last night. Coffee now, off to work in a few mins.

Just got some gin and tonic delivered from Asda. Should keep me going for a few days..

Put in a pretty solid work day. On my second Corona now. But still managed to bbq burgers for dinner, empty the dishwasher, cleanup the latest batch of fallen leaves outside, and about to do a second load of laundry.

I feel less bad about drinking a couple beers when I stay in motion and get some s**t done.

Ended up also having the last splash of some kind of bitter espresso & cacao infused liquor just to empty the bottle and make room in that cupboard. Had it over ice. Still didn't get drunk, but that was about 2.5-3 drinks last night. On the black coffee now getting ready for my day.

On the gin and tonic today. Have to clear out my living room later for carpet to be fitted tomorrow.

Zero drinks yesterday, but going to the Tool concert in Vancouver tonight so might have a couple.

Ended up having 5 beers yesterday, a few tokes, and a few burgers lol. 2 beers at home before I left for the concert, 2 more after I parked my car, and one $15 small glass of beer during the concert. ($11.99+ tax + 10% tip = crazy)

Coffee so far today, and I feel a whole lot of water drinking for the rest of the day. Work to go do errands to run etc.

Not had a drink so far today and don't plan to.

Can your face recover from years of drinking alcohol or not?

My late uncle was good looking but he ruined his looks by daily heavy drinking and smoking.

The sooner you reduce your drinking, if you drink too much alcohol (which you have said you do in a different thread), the less damage you will put upon your skin.

Sometimes that damage isn't reversible, so if you care about your skin, you would go easy with alcohol.

What sort of damage on the skin is not reversible?

Ageing of the skin can be accelerated with excessive alcohol consumption.

Maybe you can get that treated though with laser therapy or seeing a dermatologist

Laser therapy isn't going to do much for your late uncles boozers face.
