^ In London. The snow is still falling now and is sticking, but it's the soggy slushy kind of snow not the nice fluffy sort.

I saw a guy in the supermarket stimming. I know that maybe shouldn't make me happy but it was kind of nice to see a fellow adult stimmer. And he wasn't being obvious about it or anything, we just share a stim and that was kind of nice to see. It makes me not feel so alone.

I feel happy about driving on the highway now.

I've just got myself out of a pity party about joblessness and money by deciding to play a Kinks CD. If I wasn't listening to that CD right now, I'd still be having that money induced pity party.

i was looking for lebanese things in lakemba today. after i steaked out the food places i went looking for a brik:

i got to a shop that sold them for $10 which is the cheapest i have seen but i have no money on me and the lady wants to know if i work or if i'm on government payments so i told her and she was really nice about it. that she even asked me if i'm on government payments amazed me because when i talk to people i know outside of certain circles are just like how do you get by if your parents don't give you money or if you don't work? she said when i do get money to come back and she'll give me a discount. she got excited when she thought i was from lebanon because i was talking arabic and had lira in my pocket. i liked being able to speak arabic to somebody.

and my friend who lives in lebanon but is from syria said he might be coming to sydney to work for a little! it's a big might but i hope he will. i miss him. if he comes to australia but goes to melbourne i will get so sh***y.

My friend is coming to see me today from a city two hours away from were I live.

I got a haircut today.

I think my friends feel guilty - my ex posted something on his Facebook page against a meme that was implying people on benefits are scum...he used my situation as an example of what it's like to be on benefits...ie not the luxury lifestyle choice such meme and media imply (didn't use my name - obviously friends knew it was me, which was fine as it's not like they don't already know my situation) including the fact I can't afford to even see my friends and have lost most of my friends since losing my job as a result. Within a couple of days my two best friends arranged to meet...my friend James took me drinking and paid for all my drinks, and then today Mark bought me pizza (insisted I get a large pizza and desert) and then attempting to buy me Batgirl Converse (I didn't let him buy me the trainers). It's nice for them to acknowledge that I'm struggling and make an effort to make sure I get to see them.

I ordered a pizza tonight. It was great.

i got an appointment with the sydney sexual health centre. their services are free and i can get tested for stuff. yay.

i am going shopping by myself today before work.

Someone understands me!








Finally... and I don't really have to care about everything that much because now I know I'll get to my goal no matter what - that is, unless an asteroid hits me for some reason.
