I've blow-dried and combed my hair in preparation for the haircut.
I think I look like one of the Beatles, or maybe a member of another 1960s pop / rock band that I can't quite remember the name of....

Why does every barber I know of in town have to be closed all day on Thursdays!? Just on the one day I finally decide to get it cut, and actually get off my arse to go do something about it, nowhere is open. I WILL get it cut by the end of the day though!!
