Which is strange because I have a fantastic memory for remembering people's faces from years and years ago to the point that even if I've only seen them once or twice, years ago, I'll still remember them.

It's kind of embarrassing because if I see them in the shops years later, I'll say hello and they look at me like, "Who the hell are you?"

I may have it a bit, though not to the extent that I wouldn't recognize a partner. Sometimes I think it's partly due to me not paying attention to their face.

Me too. My memory works in pictures

Yup, same with mine. I only wish I had perfect photographic memory. That would simplify things and make learning more enjoyable. I also remember things by sound. For instance, I always recognize actors (that I've seen in previous things) by their voice, but recognizing them by their face happens less.

Same here! I'm hopeless with names.

I also remember quotes from TV shows/movies and use them often in life - especially quotes from Spock - what I call Spockisms

Yes I recite quotes from my favorite shows too. Most of the time people don't get the reference, which is a bit of a bummer. But I supposed not everyone can be that cool.

But sometimes, it's a good thing because I can claim credit for some of the wise things Spock has said and they don't know it's a Spockism. :D

Prosopagnosia (face blindness) is part of beng an Aspie for me

I've had times where she's even been waving her hands in the air and I still don't recognise her. It used to drive her nuts.

Sometimes I have face blindness but most of the time I don't. I guess it depends on how much stress I'm under and how well I'm handling the stress.

I came home from work sick.
Well, breathing difficulties.
I felt really bad that I couldn't continue and wanted to have a little break and see how I felt later.
They were lovely about it - told me my health is important to them and don't worry etc., - someone even drove me home.

Wow.
What a change from the last place I worked.

Mine doesn't seem to be related to anything. It just happens. I don't know why. I'll honestly be looking for the person and they'll be right in front of me or in the distance and I just don't recognise them. WEIRD!

Raleigh, take care. I care about you. You are lucky you work in such a caring place.

Talk about taking care, I'm drinking wine like it was water - and I can't remember the last glass of water I had!

Thank you.
It's weird having people be so caring about me.
It made me all confused.

I don't know if I put my stuff in the locker at work.
I was off with the fairies.

You should drink a glass of water for each glass of wine you drink.
