He's such an a-hole! Initiate operation get-me-the-f*ck-out-of-here.
But I need a way to make more money...without that I'm going no where.
And there in-lies the problem.

Can you stay with a friend while she's at your place?

No, unfortunately. Luckily she's changed her plan and is now leaving on Saturday afternoon. The bigger problem is the permanent resident here. We've become almost entirely hostile towards one another at this point (as I'm trying to detach).

Thanks. Yeah, it's painful to think about how it was several years ago because I really thought I was finally through with being alone. Now I know I'll soon be in that place again, and some days I wonder if this was my only chance. Then other days I feel really optimistic and look forward to the possibility of a future relationship. Ah my brain is a confusing place.

Oh I definitely did. Aside from gaining relationship experience I got to live in another country and another state, which I probably wouldn't have done otherwise. It will just take some time before I can look back on the more detailed memories fondly.

*Lightening the mood*
Someone's topic title just reminded me of something silly I did at an old job. I was working in a bookstore and a guy needed help finding a book on a specific topic. He told me the topic and I thought, "okay I know where to find that." I took him over to the cultural section in the Asia category and started searching. Well it turns out I had misheard him. I thought he said (because he spread it out in his pronunciation) "youth in Asia." Much to my embarrassment, he meant Euthanasia. To make matter worse this made him think I wasn't familiar with the word so he started defining it for me.
