I just don't see how deleting the engine and reinstalling it could be a time saving operation - regardless of whether you've got the games/maps backed up or not.

My apologies then. I thought it you might be unfamiliar with it.

I probably formulated it badly. What I meant I wanted to increase the effort that is required to reinstall those games. The time saving is no longer playing those games, so I can use the time I usually spend on playing those games on other things.

I suspected that's what you were trying to say but, if you get the urge to play, instead of spending your time actually playing the games, you're only going to spend the same amount of time trying to reinstall Steam so you can play the games.

what would you rather do? Spend your time on reinstalling or playing?

It's still all time spent. Might as well fill it with quality instead of boring installation, waiting time!

You're going to do it anyway!

Counter Strike is still a good game.

I lived in a situation (and still do - different situation) where it didn't/doesn't matter how long I spend playing. I'm fortunate.

I don't sleep much and as I played right through the night until early hours of our morning, and I always found it interesting how the languages would change (on voice mike) as the time changed i.e. as the world spun around and daylight hours would visit different countries around the world.

Different countries come alive as the sun reaches their shores. For me, it was mostly 12am onwards!

Probably, but I hope if it happens I will have at least finished the research I want to do and have written the article I want to write. And maybe even some more. :)

Who're you supposed to drink with/share the bottle with if you're autistic and know no one outside of this internet thingy?
