I know but not everyone will appreciate that so it's upto you to try and train yourself to not do it so much.

There was one guy on the undatables who was a model called Tom Morgan. Some people commented saying that because he was good looking his odd mannerisms made him more endearing. Bur that if he was ugly or average girls would reject him for being a creep :(

Well it just proves how people are doesn't it.

There is sometimes a guy in the pub I go in who has autism and downs syndrome and he stares at me sometimes but I don't mind that but if he didn't have downs syndrome and just autism then his disability would become invisible and some people might take offence to him staring.

Your disability is invisible so people are less likely to give you any consideration when you are behaving oddly (in their opinion).

It's sad but sometimes you have to just suck it up. I give myself about 2 seconds to look at anyone and then I move my eyes on to something or someone else. Just try not to get fixated on one thing no matter how attractive it is.

The problem is having to fight against your nature and control your eye contact can take a lot of mental effort.

I don't think there is any solution to this problem is there?

In your opinion why do these 'odd' mannerisms make attractive people even more appealing compared to not so attractive people?

Yeah it's really hard to go against your own nature but if you can learn to do it, it might help you in the long term.

The solution is that you find a solution.

I'm not a psychologist so I don't know. Maybe it's OK to be odd and attractive but not odd and not so attractive. It's just the way it is unfortunately.
