Decent amount of sleep, for a change, so my brain works a bit better.

I made some pumpkin soup again and it was absolutely delicious. It's so easy to make and will last for days.

Finished a carpentry project.

Also, put up a hammock and found that I find them very relaxing. It think it's the slight swinging/rocking motions.

I had been doubting and fearing my diagnosis ever since I got it, even though I wanted to get it. I have been in denial.

Today, the following words were spoken to me:

"I've been studying Autism for 11 years, and I can tell you're definitely on the spectrum, but you seem to be a very healthy Aspie; gifted and highly-functioning."

It's all I've ever wanted to be, and it means I have good work to do.

I know this spectrum has dealt others a harsher hand, but I will accept what I have, and not refuse this gift because of it. I will not shun my identity because of "survivor's guilt".

And beyond this, I hope that hope will break through in some form to everyone here. And I am very happy to do whatever part in that there is for me.

I was able to save all the spiders I know of from being poisoned in my apartment... I noticed ants in the place I just moved into, so I bought ant poison, but apparently, it's for also killing a bunch of other insects including spiders. Which I had been letting the spiders live with me since they were causing no harm, and their webs look nice. The ants have to be ridden of though since they threaten food stuff, so I decided to evacuate the spiders to the outdoors, and as unhappy and reluctant as they were to be moved, none that I know of were left behind to be poisoned.

My mom was told by her radiation oncologist that she will be well enough to travel in late June to visit me. I have not seen her since the beginning of February and I miss her very much.

Also, my sister got into the MBA program at MIT, my brother in law got into the MBA program in Western Ontario and likes it, and my sister might very well be on her road to being a doctor... time will only tell as to where she got in, as her marks are in the high nineties and she has top notch social skills. My other sister has a beautiful baby boy.

Sigh. One of these days I 'll have something to brag about for my own achievement.
