Is it really true they have cut it down to 3.7 percent?

Yes, on the Asda website it says 3.7% Pathetic like cutting Becks from 5% to 4%. The health lobby in action.

Currently just over half way through a bottle of Estevez Sauvignon Blanc from Aldi. It's sort of okay-ish.

It's not steam.. it's 2nd hand nicotine that non-nicotine users shouldn't be forced to inhale, just like cigarette smoke.

Oh I didn't think of that. It looked like Stephenson's Rocket starting up.

Just took my first sip of a cold can of Budweiser ZERO - 0.0% alcohol beer.. tastes like bud I guess, not terrible, but never is my choice of beer. I half expected it to taste f*****g gross because it's been sitting on top of our clothes dryer for more than a year getting warmed up over and over lol.. but I guess it doesn't get very hot on top And there was a cardboard layer in between.

Anyways, it's not terrible but I don't think I'd ever buy it. I had a 0% alcohol IPA at my friends place a few weeks ago - he had about 10 different no alcohol beers. He quit drinking before a minor nasal surgery and then just decided not to drink anymore at all. All about health and body/mind/business performance -> which he has to be at his CEO level. I'd drink those various booze free IPA's he had - taste pretty good, tbh.

Definitely a massively growing segment in the beverage industry.. alcohol free beers/cocktails etc. There's even a new alcohol free cocktail bar that just opened up near one of my brother's place. A lot of people cutting back, quitting, or not even starting drinking.

Personally, I Know I'll cut back - I already have considering I haven't had any alcohol for 3-4 days now vs. at least one daily drink usually. But I don't see myself just cutting it out 100% completely forever. My drinking will likely fluctuate. Some events and parties call for it, some social gatherings etc. I might do something like limit myself to One drink, whether at home or the beach. Or limit myself to drinking Only at the beach. Or Only on Friday evenings or something - I dunno - I don't have a hard and fast plan in mind or set in stone; only a loose understanding that I can't drink daily and accomplish my various goals in life/work/career/health/fitness etc and that my alcohol intake simply needs to be lower in order to accomplish things vs. relax in vacation or retirement mode every evening. I've had enough slack time through covidtimes and so many peoples' deaths to last multiple lifetimes.. time to drink less and do more. Work, exercise, reading etc.
