This dream, though not interesting at all, is recent and I remember it:
I told a customer in my check out lane which store had the best variety of dark chocolate bars.
Not interesting, I know.
I recently dreamt I was shaking my butt like a stripper.

Wanting to, telling yourself to remember as you go to sleep, and writing them down when you do remember all help. I hardly used to remember mine. I usually remember one or several dreams a night now.

i dreamt i was with my older sister, in some weird underground place, that was dark but had artificial illumination, and there was mossy grass-like stuff growing on the ground, that a group of spectral entities ordered us to mow with these riding lawnmowers. one of those entities was my late father. i tried to mow the stuff but it just was not long enough to mow, so i ended up just going for a tedious ride. then i awoke.

i had the strangest dream concerning my late father when he was ill shortly before he passed- i [in the dream] was summoned back to work in the middle of my leave, and i found myself walking through the locked gate to labor and delivery ward- once i got past the locked doors, no bathrooms were open and i found myself with an eyelash in my right eye which i never could tolerate in waking life, so i quickly walked over to the 3 south ward off on the left side of the 3rd floor, went around the corner to the end of the hall before the exit by the guard desk, on the right side was room # 0- door was open so i walked in 'cause i didn't see any bed in the room, thought it was empty, then i noticed a bit later that in place of the large plate glass view windows overlooking mt. rainier, there was a mural-sized mirror so i went up to it to look into my eye to remove the eyelash which had been tormenting me, then i noticed in the reflection something move so i looked behind me and i suddenly saw my father in a bed looking all gray and pretty grim, so i turned around and said "oh hi, dad" to which he muttered to me, "get a nurse!" so i asked him, "are you needing pain relief?" to which he again told me to "get a nurse" so i went out in the hallway which was now dark as candlelight, as all the windows were absent- and saw that at the nurses' station there was a crowd in the darkness with a meager light coming from the ice machine, and i noticed that everybody was very busy doing something or another, and i asked one doc [whom i recognized as one of the ob docs in waking life] since he was not busy could he ask a nurse to look in on my father [odd that a geriatric patient would be in a maternity/childbirth recovery ward], and he shook his head as if to say "i'm just too busy"... then i awoke. :?

i dreamt this one several years ago- i was in england [in my dream], waiting in a large bright auditorium filled with folk sitting in bleachers and rows of folding chairs, and it was somewhat noisy, and crowded, and i was with my family, and we were all waiting for some undefined thing to take place therein- i got thirsty so i went in search of water to drink, and remembered at the last minute that in english commonwealth countries that water fountains generally are banned as unsanitary - so i had to find a vendor to sell me some water, and the first one was a fancy spread with various continental breakfast items spread out on the white-draped banquet table, and the attendant told me that if i wanted some water i'd have to pay 2 dollars for it[!] which was more than i had in my [mostly]empty wallet at that time, so i went in search of cheaper water and found it at a small card table with a white drape over it, and i saw a chilled water dispenser and lots of small thimble-sized cups stacked left and right, and the attendant there charged me 10 cents for a thimble of water, [one gets what one pays for, i suppose] so i got my little water and was walking back to my seat when at the point i was going to sit down, 2 english "bobbies" [police] rudely grabbed me under my shoulders and the scruff of my neck and dragged me out of the place, down the street, to the police station [which looked like something out of dickens], without a word until we entered the station- i asked what was going on, and they said i defaced their website, without further elaboration, and soon i found myself in a dingy dark place with dirty orange shag carpetting and brown wallpapered hallways- i saw also that everybody was dressed in maroon and beige scrubs as though they worked in a hospital, and i asked one of those folk if he was from america, as he was black and spoke with a southern american accent, and he told me that he was from london, and this mystified me, but before i could think about it too long i found myself in a large room with white walls and brown carpeting, with a large wooden conference table in the middle, and the cops who got me earlier asked me why i did it, and i told them i didn't know anything about anything as i was an american tourist and had never visited them before, and furthermore knew nothing about websites, but if it would make them happy i would be glad to do my best to repair their website, realizing without too much pain that i knew nothing about how to do this but i supposed i would have to learn it on the fly- in anycase, this seemed to make them happy and they released me back to the conference but before i went i had to get a receipt from the desk sergeant- so i went into a little room with a bunch of other folk waiting for the same thing, including the black person i spoke with before, and before long i engaged them all in a conversation about the difference between an american accent ["prominent rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr's"] and an english accent [mostly dropped r's] and then my alarm went off before the dream finished- damn! i hate it when that happens. :x

I dreamed about a giant face that appeared in a door. I think it was some kind of demon. He had a moustache and pointed features. He looked a bit like a cross between V's mask from V for Vendetta, and Baron Münchhausen, from the film. I think I was conversing with it, but I can't remember any dialogue.

There was another fellow in the chamber, and he seemed to recognize the demon, and he was very deferential towards it, and he treated the door being as though he could grant favours or wishes or something. It was very spooky.

Then a bit later on, I dreamed I was in a huge martial arts training room. It was full of people milling around and all kinds of weird objects from every historical period. Then I found myself with a spear and spear thrower and suddenly everyone started doing drills with them, chucking them at the other end of the room.

I learned that this is called an Atlatl

Shortly after Christmas vacation during my first year of College, I had a dream that after my mum and I took the decorations off the Christmas Tree in the dark, my dad took it out of the water can and he was spinning it with his right hand.

I dreamt of many tiny, liquidy-jelly frogs.

I remember a dream I had years ago. I was on a school bus when the bus went over a cliff and fell into water. Everyone on board, including the bus, floated right back up, but I went straight to the bottom. I could not swim up. Then a lot of bubbles came out of my mouth and then I woke up. I can only surmise that I drowned in that dream. 8O

One variation of my filthy public restroom dream is the laundromat dream where there are no machines available. Well, last night I dreamed I was able to do 20 loads at once! Must be auspicious.

I had a dream last night that I went to the swimming pool and I went on the slide. Then I came home and a girl from school that I don't like showed up at my house and went upstairs. I recall pulling her hair then asking her to pull mine. She did and I mentioned that I liked my hair being pulled and she was annoyed at that.

Strange Trains.
Imagine a familiar area to you, but now put in a maze of railroad tracks in a haphazard manner, e.g. around trees and sharp 90* degree turns in a field---something completely nonsensical, etc.

I have this recurring dream of being set in the midst of these labyrinth style track layouts and running or dodging a train that I somehow know is going to derail. Sure enough I find the trouble area that looks suspect and "she tips over," and box cars are rolling into trees and I'm barely able to make my way out of this predicament-- by jumping over banks and scaling a tree, etc.

Ya know, all these dreams that I've posted here all have unpleasant story lines, in fact I really can't remember a pleasant dream ever. If I do have one it morphs into something sad or unpleasant.

Is it the perceived stress of my life ,with the usual insecurities and viscitudes of "life," or is it indicative of a sleep disorder? I know I have had 'sleep paralysis' and was an avid sleep walker in my younger years, but C'mon now.

Any insights on W.P. land on this?

here is my SWAG at it-

Field
To see barren, train-track-filled fields in your dream, signifies lack, pessimism and your jaded prospects for the future. You are feeling overwhelmed by life, in general, and struggling to keep up with the demands of life.
Train
To see a train in your dream, represents conformity. You are just going along with what everyone else is doing. Alternatively, a train means that you are very methodical. You need to lay things out specifically and do things in an orderly and sequential manner. Dreaming of trains may also be a metaphor that you are "in training" for some event, job or goal. According to Freud, a train is analogous to the male penis. But if you see haphazard train equipment, that means your life plans have "gone off the rails." If you fail to keep up with the train, could mean your attempts to keep up with the rest of society are taking a toll on your mental or physical health. The boxcars represent the burdens of life that despite your best efforts, are escaping your grasp and crashing.
To see or dream that you are in a train wreck, suggests chaos. The path to your goals are not going according to the way you planned it out. You are lacking self-confidence and having doubt in your ability to reach your goals. To see a dysfunctional railroad in your dream, indicates that you "off the track" toward achieving your goals. Your progress is awry. It could also mean that the complexities of life are escaping your grasp and entangling you in the accumulated failures in life, IOW you are feeling weighed-down by the lack of success in multiple areas that you feel should have turned out better than they have.
Trees
To see lush green trees in your dream, symbolize new hopes, growth, desires, knowledge, and life. It also implies strength, protection and stability. You are concentrating on your own self-development and individuation. But to see trees getting encircled by traintracks indicates the bullying stresses of life using up your energy. You have put your all into some relationship or project and now you are exhausted. Perhaps you are even feeling depressed, and seeking refuge or shelter from your troubles. Alternatively, the dream, with its proliferation of metal tracks all over the place and displacing the natural world, signifies the gradually corrupted cycle of life with the passage of time. To dream of climbing a tree to escape troubles is reflective of wanting to "get away from it all," of escaping the rat race in waking life. Maybe a major vacation would be just what the doctor ordered.
Maze
To dream that you are in a maze, denotes that you need to deal with a waking task on a more direct level. You are making the situation harder than it really is. Alternatively, the maze symbolizes life's twists and turns. It represents indecision, confusion, missteps, feeling lost or being misled.
Labyrinth
To see or dream that you are in a labyrinth, indicates your desires to get to the center of some issue or problem. Alternatively, it suggests that you are feeling trapped in some situation. You feel lost and that there is no way out.
Running
To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears. To dream that you are trying to run but cannot make your feet move as fast as you want them to, signifies lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. It may also reflect your actual state of REM paralysis during the dream state. To dream that you are running alone, refers to your determination and motivation in the pursuit of your goals. You will find success and rise above those around you. Alternatively, the dream may mean that you need to hurry up in making a decision.
Restrained
To dream that you are restrained, indicates that you are holding yourself back and not fully expressing yourself. Perhaps you are feeling helpless in some situation. The dream may also be a reflection of the actual state of your body, known as REM paralysis.

Interesting blabby.

And I've had these dreams since 4.
It's a reflection of anxiety and it seems than one can be too aware of that hanging grand piano that is dangling over all our heads by a string. And I'm sure a lot of this is the mistreatment or injustice that is seen everywhere and this lends itself to mistrust as in "instability".... there is nothing sure.

I've witnessed friends lose their son in an accident and lose the rest of their life in grief. Shocked completely that something as this could happen to them. Myself, I've always been aware of the grand piano. It's as if I was born to 'know' the plots ending from day one.... Maybe I was born depressed.

Onto Freud: I've learned he has one enduring legacy; he carved out 'panic anxiety' in modern day terms. But the neuroses theories are now grouded in biology or 'quirks' in one's biology. Biological psychiatry has shown that it is not off centred thoughts per say, but the rooting is in an off kilter physiology.

Interesting subject^^

CRUDZ! It was a hot night, and I swallered over to the I Tell Yew Whut over at San Scuttle. It possessed lots of POWELL! But really though, how can you be so shore there's a VIRT death mask lurking around the corner? Besides, I maddened myself up and stormed over wildly to the Emerald Hill Zone. I got all seven Super Emeralds (and the Chaos Emeralds, to boot), turned Hyper, and then went SNUK!
