I had some vodka earlier tonight. I am finishing off a cheap vodka, but have some better quality stuff that I will open next.

I'm thinking about ordering some Baileys to be delivered. For a bit there I couldn't stand the taste of alcohol...happened after the last time I got covid. But now my sense of smell and taste are pretty much back to normal and I had some alcohol awhile back and it didn't taste like death...so... thinking Baileys sounds good. Not sure I want to take the hit on the delivery fee since I'm a cheap ass lately (trying to bank more cash for xmas), but since I spent like no money this month, I think it'll be fine.

Why don’t you just go pick it up yourself and save the delivery fee?

I'm scared to drink Bailey's in case it contains lactose. Some sources says it does and some says it doesn't.

My car died last year and I can't afford to fix it. The one liquor store near me is sketchy af and people get shot there sometimes. I wouldn't go to that store if it was a Tuesday afternoon, I'm certainly not walking there on a Saturday night. I would ask my one daughter, but she's at work. I got no one else to ask, so it's delivery or nothing. Poor planning on my end.

I'm not sure if the stuff contains lactose. All I know is it's delicious.

I'm quite lucky here because I've got 3 within 5 minutes walk in one direction then another 5 minutes in the other direction and 3 supermarket within about 20 to 30 minutes walk away.

Look what I just spotted in a liquor store in Vancouver:



I’d have bought one just to try it but I asked how much it was (no price tag) and it’s over $7/can + tax etc so like $8/can. (This store has high prices on most items despite being in a so-so part of town on the fringe of some bad areas.)

Maaaaybe if it was like $4, but not $8.

Bio- mom coming up with Sailor Jerry , banana cream pie moonshine and there will be hot cider with spiced rum.Also have some egg nog for the rum and she is bringing peach beer.Not sure about that but will give it a try.
