Another storm lover here!

I enjoyed watching the summer thunderstorms develop and approach from the 6th floor of the building I worked at this summer. I remember watching the afternoons sky progress from being filled with billowing cumulus clouds to that high-gray-overcast, kind of a filtered/milky look, that always precedes a big line of evening thunderstorms. Then you'd see the turbulent blue-black shelf-cloud slowly emerge from the darkness on the northwestern horizon. I liked watching the big wall of wind and rain just behind the shelf-cloud engulf everything as it approached. Sometimes it was so abrupt that you could see the rain enveloping buildings less than block away before a single drop had hit my window.

Ooh, yeah! A good thunderstorm is an amazing thing. The deepest rumbling thunder or a sharp clap. Lightning here and there. Rain coming down in torrents. There's something immensely satisfying about simply sitting and observing a storm.

Temps in the 40s or below. I LOVE LOVE cold weather especially snow because the scenery is so pretty. I can't stand DC heat and humidity. I dread spring time too. I would move to upstate NY.

Bright, sunny and warm (not too hot).

It not only makes it better for walking around and making the most of outside, it just puts me in a good mood.

I love cold, rainy days.

Sunny, clear, not a cloud in that blue sky, and warm (but not hot).

Nice, sunny days. And snowy days too - only if I'm on a snowboard and not driving in Tahoe. Riding in a snow flurry is relaxing...

Yup. I even got up in the middle of the night and drove into a storm to get these pictures.

Do it! It's beautiful there! It was snowing in central NY this morning - I miss it myself.

The nastier and stormier the better. I love rain, storms and snow. I actually get a little depressed if it stays sunny for too many days in a row. I don't mind cold, but I absolutely hate hot!

Dry windy thunderstorms drive me wild. I love the opening credits for never-ending story.

Thunderstorms, I like the feeling that permeats the air after one.
And I like snow, due to my preference for cold over heat.

Rain. Heavy rain, preferredly in the early autumn, and very cloudy. No lightning, though; I have very sensitive hearing. I just love the sound of rain and its sound calms me down and helps me sleep, and I have a lot of sleeping problems, so if it starts raining just around when I go to bed, I become very thankful. Also, when outside, the earthy smell is just so nice, it removes the dust from everywhere, and aside from the cloudiness meaning little light that disturbs my eyes, the soft lighting that the heavy cloudiness results in even means that your facial features become far improved - as long as you just use an umbrella so your hair and makeup doesn't get messed up. :p However, best of all is of course its sound. :) But overall, it's just pretty much the perfect weather... too bad that it causes floods and ruin crops, and all sorts of other bad things, if there is too much of it...

Anyway, I hate really hot and sunny weather. If it's too sunny for a while, it actually makes me depressed. I love the autumn, because then I know that it will only get darker. Also, colder means less bugs. I hate bugs. -_-; Pretty much all of them, anyway.

Storms, cold weather when it's drizzly. I like summer, but winter is definitely my scene.
