The year "off" wasn't even a full or continuous year; we'd get back together every couple months for a week or so, and we always talked everyday, day and night. It was never about wanting to be with someone else or loving someone else; it was simply about the logistics and if we could make it last, considering the realities of the situation (ASDs, moving, etc). There was some miscommunication then, but we got it straightened out now and are confident in forever. We've talked about what happened during the break, which ended a few months ago, and while it's something that can't be completely ignored (ie, pretend it never happened), it's not something that need affect us, and it wasn't really significant. I do trust him completely, and I believe in our relationship.
