I was babbling away at one of my rats, you know, making silly noises at him because they're so cute. And then one of the other rats popped out of the nearest little hide-out as if to see what was going on. I didn't even know he was in there, as he very rarely goes in that one. He just popped out, gave me an old-fashioned look, turned around and then went back in.
The exact same body language a human would make if they popped out of their house to see what a noise was all about.

I was having a humourous conversation with my work friends yesterday about the UK putting fines on stupid things, and one of us said "imagine they started taxing people for drinking a bottle of coke that didn't have their own name on". I burst out laughing.
Imagine sitting on a park bench enjoying a bottle of coke that said the name Harry on, and a policeman came up to you and asked for your ID, then he looks at it and says "aha, your name isn't Harry, it's Steve! That's a £1,000 fine that must be paid by next Tuesday!"
Wouldn't surprise me, honestly, they fine you for breathing these days.
