Had a beer at the beach by a fire where I cooked dinner then went and had 2 more coronas with Ken Foster to see how paintings are coming along & chat about another one etc.

2am, just got home. Probably going to stick to water for now.

Back on the gin and tonic today. Asda didn't have the slimline tonic so got it from Iceland.

This has been on my mind for a while but in places like nightclubs and bars why is it a problem if a guy creeps women out?

Is this a real question?

Nobody wants to be creeped out and most people want to feel safe, including from creeps. Looking over one's shoulder because one is being followed or stared at for example, is uncomfortable and can be distressing.

Well for example speaking in a monotone voice can creep women out.

Like I have said many times some people on the spectrum can't help staring because they have not got a built in instinct.

I think I'm on the spectrum but haven't been able to get diagnosed. I am the complete opposite, I avoid eye contact as much as I can to avoid creeping out other people (especially women).

Yeah I get that too. I have no problem making eye contact but other people seem to have a problem with making eye contact with me.

Yes, women can be creepy also.

Because men are more a physical threat that is why the stigma of being creepy is much worse if your male.

Because men are biologically programmed to seek sex to procreate and if their nervous systems are glitching then they don't come off as an awkward suitor, instead they're perceived much more readily as a creepy perv and potential rapist.

If women were the ones programmed to seek out a mate to procreate with in the same way men are, then they might be the creepy ones a lot more often. But they're not and men are so when men can't behave as expected, their behaviour, whether intended or not, is often interpreted under an umbrella term of being "creepy."

As long as I live I will never understand why anyone would drink alcoholic free drinks that taste like alcohol. I'd rather have a glass of pop if I'm not gonna have alcohol
