Does anyone have any random allergies?

I'm allergic to alcohol (isopropanol and ethanol) - if it touches my skin I swell up like a balloon, and supposedly the same effect would happen if it touches my insides. I don't want to find out, so I don't ever plan on drinking.

Incidentally, I'm also allergic to medrol and other similar steroids, something very bad, because if I showed up in the ER after having ingested alcohol, they would fill me with medrol to stop the swelling and start to reverse the reaction. Whoops.

I'm also allergic to Vaseline (but no other form of moisturizer that I know of) and lobster. (No other shellfish, just lobster)

Anyone else have random allergies?

For some strange reason, I'm allergic to Canola pollen but not the oil. Weird ! ! Nothing else though. Yet ! !

when I was a toddler I used to eat mud and ground and stones, any dirt really. thanks to that I can eat just about anything- no allergies, no stomach problems! :]
