When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I like to learn about diseases and disabilities, both mental and physical, and basically anything medical. That's why I'm doing Biomedical Science at uni (if I get the grades) :D

Sometimes I have certain obsessions with genetics and albinism and a slight side-effect is that I can be prone to a 'certain type of ideation' about albinistic women, does that count?

In case you're wondering, "Hang on, albinistic women would be ugly," you should go here for an (IMO) exception:

I've always had a fascination with physical and mental illnesses, I don't know WHY on earth I would, but I like reading about them, and watching documentaries on them. I like learning about what the people go through and how the cope with whatever they have. I read a lot on multiple personality disorder, cerebral palsy, and bipolar disorder, having had firsthand experience of living....and STILL living with a person suffering from a form of bipolar disorder, I think I know enough.

But yes, I do have somewhat of an intrigue for physical/mental disabilities.

Well, I wouldn't say I was "obsessed" with it, only because I grew up with seriously ill people, and now I have a mitochondrial disorder, that makes life pretty well suck, on bad days (like today.) I do read as much as I can on it, as well as the work that scientists, doctors, and researchers are doing to find a cure. But I am more obsessed with AS than this.

I don't have an albinism obsession but I do find extreme pale complexion lovely to look at.

I'm actually not so much obsessed with physical, but I'm more interested in mental disorders. I'm mostly into Autism, Depression, Drug/Alcohol addictions, and Anxiety (especially GAD). I know these are common disorders, but I tend to go to the extreme in learning about them :P Not that I could tell you what I've learned, it's hard for me to explain things.
Oh, I forgot to mention I love reading anything about MPD as well, but more for fiction reading then research.
