Cousin's getting married tomorrow(saturday) and I wake up this morning with a volcano sized pimple on my forehead.
It's bad enough I'm getting super anxious because this will be the first time in 10+ years so much family has been together and i'm A.) horrible with names and B.) have prosopagnosia so names aint gonna matter because I dont know who is who anyways, and C.) the only person who can help me with this, my sister, is not going, so I'm stuck with just my mom who thinks I'm just depressed and need prozac and doesnt believe in AS or autism.

And, no doubt, when I see her tomorrow before we leave she's gonna say something about Krakatoa on my forehead because she just absolutely loves to point out any flaw she can find (this is a women who refuses to let anyone load her dishwasher because she is the only one who knows how to do it right)

f**k my life, seriously.

I also have a wedding tomorrow.

How I would deal with it if I were you would be just bring stuff with to keep you busy and you can sit by yourself. I would wait for people to come and talk to me and ask me questions if they wanted to socialize with me.

Nothing I can advise here but look at your greener pasture.

My step-daughter is getting married tomorrow .
Rehearsal is tonight ;and so is setting up the reception hall .
My wife and daughter have untreated ADHD
What a dysfunctional discombobulated mess this household is in now; whos' on first, what's on second, i dont know's is on third folks!

This is stressful enough alone even if you running on all eight cylinders.

So, uh...why you going? Just don't go. Unless you're part of the procession, they're not going to hold up the ceremony just for you. Alternatively, you could go for just the wedding ceremony, and then skip the reception.

1.} If your mom forces you to go,
pull a "fast one" on her, and let her leave
the house first.
This may be problematic though.

2.} Make a run to your nearest grocery store
and look for emergency pimple cream.
If you don't have money, find some pimple cream
in your house. If this does not work...brush your hair
in front of your forehead to cover it up.

3.} DON'T GO!

4.} Go anyway, skip the reception.

I'm kinda the designated driver =P.

It's a few hours away. And i'm driving my mom and an aunt who do not drive on the highways.
So, unfortunetely my not going is not as viable an option as I'd like =/.

My hair's too short, and this monstrosity is right above my eyebrow. I've tried the light approach to washing and it's not bad. Washing too much, the scrubbing, can irritate your skin even more. Just cant touch it and pretend it's not there!

And one more bit of fun, I stopped by the dry cleaner on the way home to pick up my jacket, and of course as I walk in the door the little chinese lady gives me a look like she was dreading having to see me. I knew something was wrong. Their presser was busted so they rushed my jacket to another site and it "should" be ready tomorrow morning.

Thats 2 strikes. One more thing and screw my mom and aunt, i'll go pay to throw them on a grayhound and someone there at the wedding must be heading back in this direction and can drop them off =P.

Do what I did and hide behind a camera. My mum got married last year and I spent almost the whole time walking around taking photos. This wasn't because I had a giant pimple though but because I was the photographer, but it was a good excuse to not have to sit down with family and let them once again analyze how pathetic my life is.
Anyway, I'm not sure if you've left for the wedding yet but if you have, then you'll be reading this when you are back so I hope it went ok.

Nope, still just friday night here =P

But I am 99% sure i'm bailing on this now.

Talked to my mom cause she had to tell me that she messed up and didnt realize that wedding is in a different time zone, so we gotta leave an hour earlier, then in the next sentence it was that we gotta leave about an hour and half to 2 hours early because we are meeting at my brother's house and all leaving from there, me and my mom and aunt, my brother & his wife and kids, and another brother and his girlfriend. Well, that means we are going to be late, there is not a f'n chance in hell my 2 other brothers can be on time and get 3 cars going on schedule. Time keeping and horology is one of my biggest and longest standing obsessions and I get physically ill if i'm running late for something, I plan out every damn second in a situation like this and I can not deal with that kind of coordination, or lack there of. I'm getting sick right now just thinking about it.

This also means that since my brother and his girlfriend are going (who, last I heard, were not) that he can take my mom and aunt.

So, that solves that. Thank god. Just gonna say i'm not feeling well.

Heh, I had a massive one on my brow during my youngest brother's wedding last summer. It was pretty noticeable.
