"Heavy Plant Crossing" signs...

This may only be the UK where we have these signs. They never fail to amuse me, because I always get an image of a giant, leafy plant slowly ambling across the road...

WTF?

Oh...it must mean "plant" as in "factory".

LIke theyre warning you that this stretch of road is used by heavy machines comeing out of a plant.

Just a guess.

Besides that I cant imagine what else such a sign would mean-except to warn you that heavy shubbery might be shuffling across the road!
