OK now you have my attention and imagination I need (desperatley) to know what Texus Toast is.

I'm just an Aussie you have to tell me!

Basically it is implied that the toast is Extra Big and Pre-Oiled

Thick sliced and pre-buttered

Texas Size

When it's done (the lost bread, as we call it), you can add anything you like on it: ice, jam, etc.
Usually, at home, people do it with dry bread so it's not lost; it was created by poor people.

ICE on Toast

In Texas we have a law against that

I mean: you have cows for the milk and the beafsteaks but do you do any good butter?

Yes we do have butter.

We make it from Cows milk.

Do you make yours from water?

No of course but some of us here add salt in it. Better taste.

OK, that's legal

However ICE ?

Yes: warm sugared bread and cold ice on it when it's served in the plate.
Usually vanilla.

Ice cream!
Not ice, ice cream!

OHhh...

We use Apple Pie for that
