neighbor's making threats of violence against his girlfriend

he's saying (yelling) stuff like, "I'm able to hurt you". He hasn't hit her or anything but if I hear it, I'm calling 9-1-1.

Makes me think he's done it before in previous marriages.

I would have done the same thing if I had a neighbor doing that.

I'd call 9-1-1 every time I hear the threats, as well. No woman should be psychically harmed.

I meant "women...?" as in there shouldn't be violence against only women?

and my wife, the psych worker thinks we shouldn't get involved at all.

nor should they be mentally harmed, people can be emotionally hurt as well as physically, any domestic violence I'd pick up the phone and call the authorities immediately, I'd not stand for it at all

let me go ahead and rephrase that:

"NO ONE should be physically harmed, male or female."

reminds me of a time I was watching a Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde movie with Anthony Perkins and my there was a rape scene in which Dr. Jeckyll's father was raping a woman. My father's girlfriend said, "Gosh, I wish women could do that to men."

So, does she wish men could be raped or that women could be more empowered or stronger?
