Power outage

It has been a bit windy today, with heavy rain. I was hoping the power would go out while I was at work so we could close, however it waited until I was home. :evil:

I would love to be able to light some candles or our huricane lamps for light to read/see by, however my OCD issues with fire prevent me from doing so. I am on my laptop at the moment, going to stay on until my battery dies completely...It would just be nice to sit in front of a roaring fire with a good book on a night like this. Sigh. :cry:

I know how you feel. Sometimes a power outage can be a good break from the normal routine. Where I live power outages in the past used to occur regularly (our national energy supplier is a joke :roll: ). At one stage one would be surprised if we never have an outage for a couple of weeks. I wouldn't mind it occurring once in a while. When it's a regularity it can be really annoying. :x
