Or sweet, little and crazy artist like Björk.

And you?

Wow, you have to be seriously German to call it a U-boat. Haha.

The idea of being stuck in a tin can I can't get out of bothers me.

Soldier (tanker, combat engineer and cavalry; these three on rotation).

The ASD disqualified me from service. I'd most likely be in the cavalry regiment that's just down the road if I were able to join.

Mine changed over time.

When I went to see the clinical psychologist when I was 6, apparently I told him that I wanted to be a soccer player

In High School I wanted to be a marine commando (because I would get paid 'just' for running and keeping fit :? )

Now I think I am starting to do what I always wanted to do deep down which is just to be ME :D

When I was little I wanted to be a truck driver, especially after watching "Big Trouble in Little China". Haha.

Later, an architect, until high school. By this time I was showing a great propensity for software, but liked the artistic side of being an architect. I later discovered how stuffy that profession is and went with the software.

First I wanted to be a professional sled dog racer, thanks to my favorite childhood movie Balto. Then one of my favorite shows became Emergency Vets, and I wanted to be a veteranarian. Then I wanted to be a plain ol' zookeeper. I really loved animals as a kid and wanted to work with them.

Then I thought about becoming a nun for a little while, but ultimately decided against it, because even though I love Jesus very much, I don't think I could give up contact with my family and my favorite worldly goods and spend all my time in prayer.

Engineer or farmer. Yeah. Now I don't care about a career, only convenience.

I remember in the 2nd grade I wrote a paper on what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote that I wanted to be an astronaut.

According to my mum, the first thing I wanted to be was a florist (when I was 2 years old).

i was mostly clueless but one thing stood out- being a television broadcast engineer. i lived too far away from the closest school to do anything about it, though. plus no fundage for classes.
2nd place was to be a social worker until i belatedly discovered that i was too screwy to be any good at it.

I always wanted to be a professional cyclist. Ever since I got my first bicycle and learned how to ride it, at 6 years old, I wanted to race that sucker  I would race anyone in the neighborhood that would race me every chance I got 8).
I never stopped riding, fast forward to high school, and I rode everywere as my transportation. After I graduated, I still rode often, but was very depressed and not a happy person, so I decided to spend most of my time training and racing inorder to get out of being so depressed.

The thing that I see in most people, is that they have these dreams as a child, that they can be anything, then at some point while growing up, they learn and tell themselfs that this thought is ridiculous and not realistic.
I never had those type of thoughts in my head, so it never occured to me that I couldnt be a pro cyclist, or that I shouldnt try. I always wanted to be a professional cyclist, and so far I have made it to the cat1/pro level
I am not on a pro team, so I cant say that I am a pro just yet, but I never had the thought that this was just some childhood fantasy, and that I couldnt do it

I also wanted to be a carpenter as a kid, so I did that for a few years before I decided carpentry is not the profession for me, lol
Wanted to be a professional photographer also. I do a lot of photography as a hobby, and have sold some of my bike race photos, but I am far from a pro, maybe I will pursue that after I retire from racing

When I was in elementary school I wanted to be a quantum physicist. In junior high I wanted to be a parapsychologist.
