Local places only. Large, national chains are terrible.

the most delectible pizza i ever tried, was at a sports bar called o'farrells. otherwise i am fond of stuffed crust pizza hut numbers. the institutional pizza i used to eat in school was also satisfying.

I'd like to try that one from Family Guy; Cheesy Charlie's. They have this game where you put in a dollar & you win 4 quarters; you win every time :P They also have balloons in the bathroom 8O
Anyways... I usually go to franchise called Little Caesars. They have it cooked & ready for you so you can walk in & get it instead of having to order it & wait around for it to be cooked. It's also a bit cheaper than most of the other places here. The quality may not be quite a good but it's much more convenient & the best deal for the cost. It's as good as places like Pizza Hut(I liked him in the movie Space Balls :D ) but Little Caesars is much better priced & don't have to wait

In New Jersey, the best Pizza Shops are independent shops owned by Greeks.

Independents. Although I love the occasional Dominos.

It's a bit hard for me to consider any of the chains as Pizza Joints... Pizza Joint gives me impression of someplace you'd hang out in. But on that, I'd consider more local places to worthy joints. I have a local Castiglias that has pretty good New York style pizza and I dined at a fine place in Savannah; the Yellow Mushroom which was also pretty good.

As for chains I generally enjoy Pizza Hut and Little Caesars. LC has some of the tastiest pizza sauce around.
I've found Dominoes to be a bit more spicy and gritty texture wise. Papa Johns is a bit similar to Dominoes but some for reason it tends to leave a weird greasy funk on me.
Cici's Pizza can be alright... depends on what you get though.

Slice on St. Charles. Haven't been to the one near Magazine yet. Oh and the whole foods store has good pizza as well.

Costco (Yes, they make pizza, at least at the one I go to, although I think most of them do. I'm not sure though. There's a concession area with pizza, chicken wraps, hot dogs, polish sausages, and frozen yogurt, among a couple of other awesomely tasty things) and Mr. Jim's have awesome pizza. Other than that, I like local places mostly.

Fat Lorenzo's. Everything about it is delicious. The chunky spicy marinara is particularly orgasmic. Too bad I'm pretty much guaranteed indigestion every time I sink into it.

I Penora Pizza here and Depew, NY and Picasso's Pizza in Lancaster, NY :D I feel sorry for those who only have access to cookie cutter pizza joints like pizzahut, little ceasers, or poppa john's. It not a way I would want to live. I am in walking distance to 8 pizza joints and at least 4 resteraunts that will make you pizza if I b***h and moan enough.

Nationally? Papa Johns. The only reason Pizza Hut's any good now is because they pretty much ripped off Papa Johns recipe.

Locally, it used to be Cirellos, but they decided to reduce the quality of their ingredients while increasing the prices, so they're just crap now. So it's a toss up between Woodstocks and American Dream.
