Should I dye my hair purple?

My friend and I thought it would be funny to dye streaks of dark purple in our hair. I got the hair dye, and we're gonna do it, and my other friend wants in, now. I did a test trip on my hair, and it's actually really cool. It's my shade and everything, just purple. XD I love purple and wear it a lot. Would dying most of my hair be ret*d?

The carpets have to match the drapes, though.

i tried dyeing my hair blue once and it looked like i had sprayed Windex in my hair!

Its your choice what you want to do with your hair, if your heart says yes, go ahead, I would try using a temporary dye just incase first of all just to make sure that it suits you and you are feeling comfortable with it before you actually start actually dying your hair.

Yeah! You should!! ! I have hair about your color and I did the same thing a while back. I left the natural black in and put the purple on top. It was very cool.

I wouldn't. Too many people these days are dying their hair all kinds of crazy colors, and I'm getting sick of seeing it; plus, I personally think it looks tacky.

Just keep in mind that people stare at you more when you have colored hair. I had mine dyed purple in the 80s and people stared at me and made comments. It a lot more common now but I still think people stare. If that doesnt bother you than I say go for it.

I don't think that dying most of your hair would be silly.

Go for it, I think it would look really cool. I'm hoping to do hot pink highlights soon.
