They have a such a cute way in speaking so nausty to eachother.

You sure don't want to hear me argue... (although I do wish I sound really posh like the people that do politics at parliament).
I would actually find that amusing.

I love their style of speaking, as well.

I don't know whether or not this is a typo, but it's more common to hear British people say "that's bollocks!"



LOL. That's a phrase I don't hear very often. It might make sense on a crowded bus perhaps, but I don't think I'd say it to a stranger.

I was half-expecting to see phrases along the lines of "I say old chap, jolly good seeing you here!" or "Blimey! 'ere aye thought you was me ol' dad, guv'na!".

I do love those crazy words the British use(d).

I love the way they speak too, and their accents. Makes me wish I had a British accent (a London one to be exact).

i am intrigued by the often profane rhyming slang thing they have going on. a long time ago, i was watching some [can't remember which one] english movie when one of the cockney characters says to the other, "BERK!" [if it weren't for the subtitles i would have thought "BUK!" was the uttered word - anyways, i did some research and found that phrase is short for "berkeley hunt" which is rhyming slang for "bloody [female body part]." the term "bloody" is in itself a mystery for me, i wonder if it is referring to a feminine bodily function or if it is a sacriligious term, or both?

The word I like the most they use is idnit, Such as: "Good day, idnit," I guess its short if isn't I do not know. I still think we should call English speaking North American because there are more native English speakers in America-Canada using it.

I also have heard some weird word usage from Canadian shows like The Trailer Park Boys. Like them refering to a penis as their bird or as goalie

i like how they have this quasi-hostility thing going on with their french neighboUrs across the channel. like how they will say "GEH-rawj" [garage] instead of "gah-RAWJ." i like their cute penis-euphenism "john-thomas" - it sounds so buttoned-down and proper, like it always wears a mac in the rain.
