obsession? You guys care so much about other members' obsessions (The Kinks, A League Of Their Own, Johnny Depp, etc.) but not mine? Why?

I do. It's been on my list of movies to watch ever since I first saw you post about it.

Actually, I don't care about other members' obsessions. They don't bother me, but they don't have a huge impact on my life.

I actually enjoyed The Thief and the Cobbler very much when I was little. I haven't watched it in years, so I plan on watching it again sometime in the near future.

I loved watching The Thief and The Cobbler, when I was a kid.

I'm actually trying to torrent the re-cobbled edition as we speak, but I'm stuck at 56% and sadly there are no seeders.
The youtube version does the animation no justice.

To be perfectly honest, the special interests of those other then you haven't really affected me. I've always loved good animation and always will.

Edit:I won't say.

There was a time, when I felt that I was too old to be posting here, because I love The Kinks.

The first thing is that each of those special interests are talked about, mostly strictly by the people who have them.

The second thing is that, you can talk about The Thief and The Cobbler, as often as you wish, here at WP.

I agree.

WP is, among many other things, a safe haven for aspies to talk about their special interests. If you want yours to get noticed, you should start talking about it more often. I'm sure you know many different quotes and bits of trivia from the movie that you could share with us. Personally I love learning stuff about movies, even if they're not ones that I'm interested in myself. :)

Where are you torrenting it from?

I was about to suggest Demonoid, but I just checked and the only version 3 they have is a rip and not the actual DVD files =/

Bump!

I, too, agree...

I first noticed that IdahoRose was into Alice in Wonderland and then I noticed the Johnny Depp obsession (he is the hottest man in the world!) because of her ever changing avatars on both...I was already familiar with them. Though there is a lot more I've learned about them thanks to IdahoRose. She gives information on them at any opportunity...on Off the Wall and Random where I spend most of my time on Wrong Planet.

The Kinks? I'd never heard of until I noticed CockneyRebel's avatars. Then I started learning about them, especially Mick, the drummer, through CockneyRebel's posts, once again, on Off the Wall and Random where I spend most of my time on Wrong Planet.

I don't know The Thief and The Cobbler...but if you were to obsess openly I'm sure I'd learn through your posts and comment.

I notice others interests, but that's all. Notice and go on. I get that you see it differently, though. Plus a lot of them I already know about...some are into psychology (already into), Johnny Depp (already know some about), etc.

I haven't heard of Thief and the Cobbler, though so I've meant to see what it is. I'm not really into animated films but I like looking into things I've never heard of.
