Bradbury wrote more than one episode for the original series. At least I think it was more than one.
Oddly, so did Earl Hamner, the author of Spencer's Mountain (an old Disney movie), that later morphed into The Waltons TV series. I think he only wrote one TZ though.
he [earl hamner] wrote "jesse belle" - a haunting, classic episode. but my favorite bradbury episode was "i sing the body electric." that one messed with my head.
btw, what did you think of the tv movie adaptation of "the martian chronicles"? bradbury himself was disappointed by what the american standards&practices would allow and judged the final result "BORING!" i myself could have done without the genevieve selzer sequence, which was overlong by about half.
That's the one. Jesse Belle. I own the video of the Marian Chronicles. It was okay, but there are subtleties in Bradbury's writing that just don't translate well to film, and never will. It was a bit disappointing, but as good as one could expect for the time period. Same goes for Fahrenheit 451. Something Wicked This Way Comes was, well, "Hollywood," but better than the rest. Bradbury is better read than watched I think. For me the greatest disappointment was leaving out that mission chapter. It was freakin' hilarious in the book.
