I genuinely believe that Aspies are among the top 1% pf the country in terms of intelligence and creative thinking. So what keeps us from the top 1% of income?

Social skills. Intelligence means nothing if you don't have the social skills to prove it.

And I'm actually consistently in the top 2%, by the way.

Social skills are overrated.

Oh I agree. But unfortunately I don't rule the world. NT's do, and that's what they see as important.

I'm not so sure about that because I'm an Aspie & I'm very unintelligent even by NT smarts & I'm NOT creative at all. I think the rezone some may not have a high income is because they're not motivated to be successful financially like NTs are. They may rather go their own way & do their own thing in life instead of trying to conform to the NT world

Apart from SammichEater's answer, which I agree with, I disagree that Aspies as a whole are in the top 1%. I don't think too many are, I'm not. But yes, some are, and it's a higher proportion of Aspies than it is NTs.

I think I'm in the top 3%. :?

Aspies don't know how to get other people to do the things they want. That's why they don't succeed.

It's an NT world and always will be - you have to use that creativity and intelligence to make your own path.

Actually, they aren't, considering the current human situation.

Social status is almost exclusively measured by income, and maybe NTs are more likely to pursue social status.

1) aspies are not amongst the top 1% of the country in terms of intelligence and creative thinking.

2) intelligent and creative people do not necessarily desire money.

3) intelligence and creativity are not as significant an aid to obtaining money as blind luck.
