For those who ate at McDonald's when you were little, did you ever enjoy getting Happy Meal toys?

I always liked it whenever they would release their "Disney Masterpiece" toys, with a toy enclosed in a box shaped like a VHS tape. I always wanted to get Alice in Wonderland, but I never did.

I also liked pretty much all of their other Disney toys that corresponded with the release of a new Disney movie.

My mum worked at McDonald's, so she brought my sister and I, McHappy Meal toys, all the time. Those were happy times. :)

I bet that was fun. There were a bunch of Happy Meal toys I wanted but never got.

I think I got Merlin from The Sword in the Stone, Cinderella, and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. That's all I remember getting, anyway. I really wanted Alice, though.

The ones I got weren't very good. I forgot what they were. We went only on rare occasion to. Heck, I think I only had about 4 happy meals from that place in my entire youth.

I think I maybe very quilty of doing that.

I only started going to McDonalds more when they started doing these Action Man toys, they were pretty awesome and I would colect pretty much all of them, but what was inside of them was always a good surprise.

I did eventually got to the point where I got pretty chubby in the end.

It was hard collecting them as a kid because my parents didn't take us there often. As I got older I would go there for the toy but then I find out I didn't need to get a Happy Meal to get the toy. I can just buy them alone.

Now I don't collect them anymore because I am running out of space in my apartment. I have a whole box of them in Montana and a lot here still in their packages my husband gave me when we first met.

I collected the beanie babies. It probably lead to my weight gain but they are sooo cute. Oh well, I don't go there much anymore since working at McDonald's made me hate their food. ^_^

I tried collecting beanie babies and disney toys.

However, I liked the burger king goku and gold plated pokemon mew two. Though the goku would always get stepped on by me and everyone else, and I liked.... to... chew on him. :D

Like other posters, we didn't go too often, and the toys would get thrown away (boy that was a way to get me screaming my head off). But everytime we'd go to garage sales, they'd be like 25 cents each or like $1 for a whole box of them. I would always beg and beg and beg, even though my mom would be like "What are you going to do with them? You don't ever play with them."

However, I can't stand fast food restaurants like these anymore. I used to like the Sausage McGriddles, but even those make me sick now.

Yeah. I was fed happy meals all the time. :( The toys are always rubbish, though (on par with the food.)

I liked the Popoids, they were in the Happy Meals around 1984 or 1985.

I couldn't stand a smell of Mc Donald's and I never enjoyed collecting the toys. I couldn't find any sense in having many toys.
