deleted minesweeper results

Is it pathetic that I feel like crying just because I deleted the records of minesweeper? They weren't really that good, but I liked them. I've even been putting getting a new computer on hold just because I've been wondering what to do when the results are gone! Sigh.

Intermediate: 50 seconds
Expert: 127 seconds


What's your best results?

Good topic! My best scores are:

beginner: 4
intermediate: 47
expert: 187

That first one really bothers me, because I had an opportunity to beat my mom's best score of 2. It was my first game of minesweeper that day and I wasn't paying attention for a couple seconds, so I didn't realize it was a two click win. I think thats how my mom got 2. I don't usually play expert because I get very frustrated over the guesswork. 127 sounds really good to me. I frequently finish over 250.

I would cry, too, if I lost my best scores. When my mom obliterated my best score for beginner, I got into the registry and changed her name to mine! In fact, that was probably the coolest thing I've ever done on a computer. Then I felt bad and changed it back.

Wow, 4 seconds on beginner, that's still very good though. I'm the opposite of you in the way that I prefer expert level just because I dislike it when it is too simple. Sometimes I make an own minesweeper level, with more mines than a normal expert level, just so I can have some extra challenge. I'm not so fast a clicker, so I could probably never beat you or your mother's beginner's level record! It's wicked good. The best I had heard until now was 6 seconds, but I see that's beaten. Laugh.

beginner: 5 seconds
intermediate: 68 seconds
expert: 237 seconds

I've reset scores a couple of times.

My true expert record used to be like 140 or something. Intermediate I don't remember.

I feel sad now because for a while I was good at that game. If I played a game right now I'd get like 300-500 seconds. Pretty sad huh?

I used to play quite a lot when I was creating museum exhibitions. I would zone out a little and it was almost as if the part of my brain that never shuts up was occupied with minesweeper, leaving another creative part to work on the exhibition design and text without interruption.

My personal best is 16 seconds on intermediate. I don't bother with the other levels, because I feel intermediate is the perfect balance of the two.

I got an account on mindsweepers.org and I currently have the best intermediate time within the last 30 days.

I'm just now finding out about the minesweeper culture online, and I didn't even know there are tournaments. I just might have to enter into one of these and see what happens.
