You know sometimes people with AS don't like being around large crowds etc...?

Well the thing is I am a fairly average height man at 5'10 and when I am around a large crowd of tall people over 6ft I dislike it and it makes me feel uncomftable and it really annoys me to the point where I get a little pissed off and distracted.

I don't always like large crowds in the sense that if there really tall it annoys me becasue I feel inferior and uncomftable. If I was 6'2 there would be no problems because I would always feel tall and i would not mind large crowds.

I sometimes have to talk to guys that are over 6'1 or 6'3 and having to look up at them when i speak annoys me because it makes me feel inferior and stresses me out.

In a way my social awkwardness can be caused by my height becasue when i see a few guys that are 6ft+ it makes me feel intimidated and and don't give eye contact becasue i am ashamed of my height. My height has even casued me many issues with my confidence as well and has had me less outgoing.

When I am enviorments where I might feel tall I feel a lot more comftable but at 5'10 there are times when i am in places where quite a lot of people will be taller than me.
Is that a symptom of AS or just a guy that wishes he was taller?

You're not alone. I'm 6 feet tall and I hate large crowds.

Its not that I hate large crowds becaue I really have no problem. Its just when I am around a lot of tall people it makes me feel annoyed and nervous.

If I was 6'2 like I said there would be no issues.

You know the short people how they are proud of their height, you are not short, but you should be proud of your height. I am 5'7", so I am medium for a girl, but I try not to be bugged when I stand next to tall girls. I just recognize that this is the lot i was dealt in the gene department, and i can either sulk about it, or I can feel good about myself. (now my weight, that is a different problem).
