I have been getting VERY fed up with my internal clock the past few months. I keep on winding up getting the night crazies, just like a cat would, and it has been VERY distruptive to my sleep patterns. I dont think it could be classified as insomnia though.
What ends up happening is ill just get a huge burst of hyper-activity that has been consistently hitting me at around midnight, give or take 30 minutes. As for why this is happening, I have no idea, I havent been going through any mental or dietary changes to bring this about, and ive always been good at trying to keep a stable sleep schedule. I have always had this happen on rare occassions, but recently its just been happening for 3-4 days a week,` and its been completely throwing me off.
Any ideas what to do? Ive tried calming music, ive tried meditation, ive tried just laying there til I fall asleep among a few other things. THe only thing that seems to even help is to do whatever I can to burn myself out, or have a bit of alcohol. Id go to a doctor to check this out, but with not insurance coverage since my state decided to drop me off of SSI for reasons that are as stupid as f**k (basically saying I dont have AS even though ive got proof of the official diagnosis and whatnot. Still waiting on my appeal hearing though, which may be a year from now most likely, and I might not need the assistance then financially if my job situation improves.)

Yes, I do have a DeviantArt, it is at.... http://demonabyss10.deviantart.com/
Run...
Don't lie down, whatever you do, it will NOT help...
Don't get on the computer...
Try watching tv or reading a book...
Take a shower...
Do as many pushups as you can...
DON'T eat anything... (unless that is what's keeping you up)
Sorry I couldn't help much, I have had SO many problems with my sleep, and I couldn't think of any other remedies.
(those are the things that I do)
