I've been thinking of dyeing my hair black (my hair is currently brown), but I'd like to get a few opinions from others before I make any rash decisions. Here's a picture of me:

I don't have Photoshop, but if you do, feel free to play around with my picture and send it to me via PM or something.

If this post was offensive, saying sorry probably wouldn't help much, oh well.

I don't see why this post would come across as offensive to anyone. :?

I meant mine telling you to get long hair and then dye it. My message was perhaps uncalled for?

Did you edit your post? I didn't see that message about the long hair. I just thought you found my post to be offensive, and I was thinking "why would somebody find this to be offensive?"

Anyway, yeah, I should probably let my hair grow out a little if I ever dye it. Do you think I'd look good with black hair? Or do you think my hair is fine the way it is?

You can try it out, but guys seem to grow hair pretty fast, and you would have annoying roots pretty quick. Of course, if you hate it it would be gone faster too. Black might be too harsh with your complexion and would stain your scalp and look very fake. You can try a darker brown first to see how you like it- there are brands that wash out in 28 shampoos too. I do think you might like it better if you let your hair grow out a half inch or so first, so the color has more to grab and will not stain the scalp as much.

Yeah, my hair does grow out pretty quickly. In fact, I'm about due for another haircut right now.

Maybe black might be a little harsh on my complexion, because I am very light-skinned. When I was little, my hair was actually very blonde - until I grew older and my hair gradually became darker.

You seem to know a lot about this. Do you have experience with hair styling, or something?

Go with what your comfortable with, if you want to dye it, you are entitled to dye it because what you do with yourself is always your choice. :D

But seriously, I was suppose to dye my hair before I go to the concert on October.
But obviously, just lighter than what my natural hair colour is.
