I am 5'9 inches tall and where i have started working on a construction site this guy who is around 6'5 inches tall keeps picking on me all the time and trips me up.

his name is Igor and he is from Russia. He is one of those tall aryan blonde haired blue eyed guys that hitler would worship.

we both challenged each other to a fight next week. I am only 5'9 and 162 lbs but do you think i could come out on top in the fight? I have no real fighting experience.

what disadvantage might happen when i fight him? he is quite impressive in stature and a lot of people are quite afraid of him on the site.

I can do 170 pushups in one set which is a good for me.

Maybe, but it is a stupid Idea. You could get hurt, other people not involved could get hurt, he could bring a gun(or another weapon), he could have friends help him, he might have advantages hat you don't know of, it could be some kind of trap...I could go on all night. It is just NOT a good idea.

I would fight him off-site, or you will probably get fired. I guess you could report him if he is actually tripping you on a construction site, that is against osha regulations. If you fight him, you should take his legs out from him since he is bigger and longer than you. Don't fight like you see in the movies. Kick him in the gut, smash his head against your knee, step on his hand. Make him feel pain and mentally quit quickly. There are no good rules in a street fight.

Study Ed Parkers Kenpo, maybe for a couple of years, after that if you still feel like fighting go for it.

What advantage might my opponent have?
