Anyone here wear contacts? Do they bother you when it rains and you look straight up?

(For the most part I'm pretty used to wearing glasses. Only when it rains and I forget to bring an umbrella do they become a hassle. I'm considering switching to contacts, but I'll do it only they're more convenient to wear during the rain than glasses are.)

No, rain doesn't matter. I can even go to Aqua-aerobic in my contacts.

Your eyeballs are always wet anyway. You have these wonderful built in biological windshield wipers called "eyelids."

You'll probably find you have to carry eye drops anyway, because if you're going to have any problem at all with moisture, it will be not enough of it.

Rain never effects my contacts. But after I get out of the shower my contacts sometimes don't feel right and can bother me.

I'm ok with contacts no matter what weather.

Yeah it's fine.
I hardly ever wear my glasses now that I have contacts.

I'd say it's better to wear contacts in the rain as you don't have to wipe your glasses constantly :D

Rain doesn't make contacts fall out, usually the eyelids keep them in place...Contacts may "slip", which is felt like a little itch or tickle on the eyeball, but usually it's compensated for by blinking...

Do remember to drink lots of water or similar during the day, as your eyes will dry out a bit when you're dehydrated

Really dry weather is worse. They seem to dry up a little and can bother your eyes more. The only time my contacts move is when I accidently rub my eyes when I am tired. :)
