Ever been told people don't want your opinion?

I've been told this twice in the past week. Both relating to my little sisters. Once I mention that dad lets the girls upset him more than mom does I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR OPINION!! ! Today my parents were suggesting some after school activities my little sister should drop. I chimed in (I feel I am the older sister and I should have a part in the conversation and SHOULD be able to give my view on the situation) to just be told We don't want your opinion! Twice within a week! SHEESH!! !! !! ! Interesting this has made me rethink the $40 drill idea and just get dad a $10 shirt or something cheaper than $40 sheesh!! ! He can go buy his own expensive drill!! ! I'll use that other money for MYSELF and MY wants! :-)

Lol, I used to have a boss whose favorite line was: "IF I WANTED YOU TO HAVE AN OPINION, I'D GIVE YOU ONE!! !" This usually followed me warning him of the consequences of an imminent act of stupidity on his part. But he never listened...

No. I gave it to them whether they liked it or not. If they don't want my opinion, go to a different country because this is America. Consequentially, this got me in trouble a lot as a kid :roll:

yeah i say my opinion before my boss says something like that. sometimes it makes me mad but other times i realize she is joking. other times i dont know nor care to hear the same bs from her. NT bosses are sooooooooooo awesome. at times. :roll:
