I like retro video games like NES and SNES and early PC games, in my opinion, much better than the modern stuff. I like the early text/graphical adventure, especially you could type weird stuff into the command prompt and get funny responses. I also like RPGs, and have played Zelda 1, Dragon Quest 1. Now interesting fact: i'm 13 years old so I'm not some 40 year old guy bitchin about how it was better then and how the kids are now spoiled, etc. Is there anyone like this too?

i liked it when the games were more about the actual game and a little less about graphics. i still have some games for NES and SNES but i lack the systems. i think they were much more fun. i have played some remakes of my favorite games for newer systems. New games lose my interest after a while, but i never eem to get tired of certain older games

When it comes to video games, I enjoy the old Atari 2600/5200 stuff, and the Commodore 64. I never really got into the NES stuff, cuz I was into the Commodore during that same time period. There was a big lapse till now, when I've gotten into some of the latest PC games, and I've got a Playstation II that someone gave me with a bad laser & I repaired it.

When it comes to all other non-computer type retro stuff, I'm really into it. I love the mid-century modern look and am rather intrigued by some of the neat "space-age" architecture that was popular in the 50's and 60's. Glass block, chrome, all that cool stuff really looks fun. I like vintage automobiles too like Chevy Impala's, Mustangs, among many. Old appliances are fun too with their neat shapes and cool styling. They also are built much better than new appliances. One of my most favorite pasttimes is restoring old electronic equpment, especially tube electronics like old radios and TV's.

I certainly don't remember any of this stuff, because by the time I was born in the seventies. I do remember seeing a few tube testers in the drug stores as I was a very young child, and sadly many places are trying to cover up. remove, hide, or othewise destroy the mid-century space-age styling of their buildings.
