Good things that happened in 2010

So, 2010 is almost over. What are some good things that happened to you during the last year of the 21st century's first decade?

I would say learning a lot about people including myself, and thus being able not to just judge people on face value. I have become less naive about how I view people and have learnt to see past people in real life who are no good.

In saying that though I have made a lot good friends (on the net) on one of the forums I visit, one in particular is pretty much my best friend.

Can't really think of anything apart from me being more confident and less over thinking about stuff. I guess you could also say I'm not thinking about my crush so often.

-I got help with my anxiety.
-I started going to a real school and I'm doing well.

I found out about WrongPlanet by accident and was diagnosed with Aspergers on August 6th.

My son got his aspie diagnoses, I discovered mine, (family had hid it from me for years) and finally got the help I needed for a long term disorder. Emotionally and mentally I'm in a far better place than I was this time last year, and my son is flourishing.

I was given an award for my volunteer duty. And I also took a trip to South America.

I've learned to play the drums, this year.

I went to a few music gigs, made some new friends and I'm enjoying my job. I'm satisfied with 2010.

2010 was a rough year.

But it looks like I'm going to make it. I discovered Wrong Planet and my place on the spectrum. Hopefully new found knowledge will make next year a better one.
