"which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

the egg. scientists claim the dinosaurs eventually evolved to to chickens/ other birds. if what they said are right, then the egg the dinosaur laid must've mutated into a chicken

And if life started with single cell creatures...

Then the answer must be "egg".
