38 today.

wondering what some of the effects of age I should experience soon.

I noticed that the skin in my hands, when stretched has striations in it. Never used to do that.

I'm getting more and more gray hair by the week. I don't mind that so much.

My back is starting to twinge when I stand up straight.

I'm getting paplilomas on my skin here and there. I even have one on the roof of my mouth. Just a mole. Nothing to worry about.

Oh, and the doctor does an extra special examination now. Fun.

Men get better looking the older we get. And tell your doctor to get his finger out of your ass. You need to wait until at least the second date for something like that.

So far:

Nearly 46, my eyes are telling me glasses are soon to be, or laser surg.....haven't decided but I don't think I can stand glasses.

-Got to watch the carbs @ 45 because of beer gut syndrome is a lot easier to acquire here.

-Gray started in @ 40.

-Libido diminished @ 45

-Reaction time is less.

- annual prostate check ups.

One thing I have noticed is the perception of time increases greatly. It is already 2011. It seems as though 2010 just flew by.

I've noticed that too. The year just felt like it started and it is nearly March.
And isn't Sean Connery fat and bald? It has got to be that brogue. Everyone should learn
accents not native to your country, it makes you that much more attractive.

as you age, you will experience most or all of the following ails-

hair getting thinner [all over] and middle getting thicker
things will sag more and more
things will get progressively dimmer and harsher and more distant
feet and hands will get bonier and more subject to painful bumps and bruises
it will simultaneously get harder to get up and harder to stay in bed
the hours and days and weeks and months and years will become increasingly indistinguishable
orgasms will get less intense and harder to come by
stickable will deteriorate to stuffable [if you are lucky]
things in general will seem more alien and uncomfortable over time
you will wonder what happened to all the good entertainments
you will wear more and more flannel
obtaining comfortable shoes will take on new urgency
your thermostat setting will creep higher and higher
you will eventually start liking lap animals more and more
your body will start dollarin' and dimin' you
it will get harder to pee and poo, and it'll be more uncomfortable to boot
many more items limited only by space available
