So if you had the voice of any singer or anyone else of your choosing who would it be and why?

EDIT:

Singer? Any operatic bass - a "Basso Profundo" voice.

I'd be just as happy with a voice like James earl Jones', but instead mine sounds more like Smeagal/Gollum from LOTR.

Simone Simons. Why?

She's got amazing range and her voice is just beautiful. Not that I don't have a good voice, mind you, I just don't have that kind of range.

Freddie Mercury. But I am content with my voice, as long as I do not sing.

John Lennon, because Imagine is one of my favourite songs.

I will have to say that if I could have the voice of a singer, it would be a toss-up between these two singers who happen to be deceased.

Dean Martin---I believe he had just about the best male singing voice I have ever heard. I love the ease at which he sang with his style of vibrato and crooning. His voice was magical and definitely difficult to emulate. In my opinion he could take a mediocre song and turn it into a masterpiece.

J.D. Sumner---Sumner was a super-low bass singer in the gospel music industry. His most famous group was probably The Stamps (which later accompanied Elvis). He once held the world's record for the lowest vocal note ever hit on a recording---"Blessed Assurance." The tonal quality of his bass voice was unique and easily discerned---it was powerful yet easy flowing.

I'd decided I'd chose Patrick Stewart's voice
